The Irregular At Magic Highschool is perhaps one of the most average power fantasy anime out there. First off, the protagonist is so bland and emotionless most of the times he comes off as a borderline psychopath. This is true for most of these type of shows, but Irregular At Magic High doesn't do anything entertaining with it, he just exists. The rest of characters include your typical harem of girls that throw themselves at the protagonist for no reason, and male characters that either envy or worship the protagonist. Furthermore, the magic system is mostly unexplained at the beginning, boring the audience with a bunch of exposition that hardly makes sense. There's no notable conflict or goal seems to pick up by the beginning of the series, events just transpire at random. The art style present is very appealing, especially in the locations of the school. However most character designs aren't as well thought out, and remain pretty uninspired. If you're the stereotypical weeb with no self-esteem, congrats this show is for you! If not, move on, don't waste your time on this.
