| You shouldn't feel like you have to find a better anime. If it's your favorite anime and you think it's the best, it's your preference. I personnally think Gintama is the best anime becaue it's my favorite but I know a lot of people would disagree with me. Not everyone has the same taste. It's still possible that you find an anime that you prefer over Clannad, though. I used to think that Fairy Tail was the best anime but now my opinion changed after I watched more shows lol |
| We can look it at this way U have watched around 2.8% of all anime ever made to this point. So I'm pretty sure it exist something better out there then Clannad. I love Clannad myself and watched it 2.x times in less then 1 year. But if it is the best thing out there, no. It woud be ONE of the best Supernatural/romance animes i have seen to this point. But as long as u think it is the best, i think that is fine. Maybe in the future u will change u mind when u have explored more genre. I once thought Naruto was the best thing ever made and it was before i had explored rest of the genre out there. |

| Alright, so hopefully no one starts putting words in my mouth, I will try to say why I think Clannad is not the greatest anime out there. The first thing that ever irritated me about the show was basically you're given a giant, talking cockroach as your main character. Oh, I don't even know if I would've liked the show anymore if she wasn't there. Maybe, but the story line doesn't really make up for the main character. I was recommended Clannad from a friend and I guess they thought I would watch it if they told me it was a "comedy" and, oofu, were they so wrong. Clannad was a pain to get through which is why I doubt I would ever rewatch it. I think the only reason I liked After Story better is because you've gotten used to the characters and you might as well finished the whole thing since you did watch all of season one. The storyline wasn't the greatest, mediocre at best, and I guess it's just because best girl wasn't chosen, I don't know. |

| It all depends in your subjective taste in anime. If after 400 anime Clannad is still the best to you then the chances that one of us will recommend you an anime to top it is unlikely, but that doesn't mean there isn't any anime out that will. |

Clannad was also an anime I watched early on in my dive into anime, and I still think highly of it even after nearly 1k completed. Is it the best? Probably not, but that also depends on what genre/criteria you're basing it on. Is it one of the best? I would say it is. |

| It's based on subjective taste of peoples. Clannad is not in my favorite list, even in my anime list. Because I don't like complicated drama genre. |
